The Unbound Hound is a breed above the rest. We are Leominster’s best for leash walking services, and we have been dog walking full time since 2015. We have the experience you’re looking for in a pet care professional who will be a member of your pack for years to come.
We offer a variety of daily dog walking services to fit many needs. Whether your dog needs solo walks, group walks, or off-leash group hikes, we will be the highlight of their day! Once you are enrolled in one of our daily dog walking programs, you can expect improvement in both your dog’s leash behavior and fitness levels.
We take pride in giving your dog the exercise and attention they need while you’re away. Our groups max out at 4 dogs at a time, and we always ensure a fun and safe environment for every animal within our care. Our commitment to providing the best care for all of our clients has set us apart from our competition!
The best thing we offer is peace of mind. At the end of each visit, you will receive a detailed progress report or “pupdate” about your dog. We are professional, flexible, and reliable. My name is Christina and I am the founder of The Unbound Hound. My unique dog business story came to fruition on a cold night in April of 2015. A very special dog saved my life when my apartment caught fire. London the mini schnauzer, lived downstairs with my landlords and repeatedly jumped on his owners until they woke up. With no prior training, his miraculous persistence is the reason that I am alive today. After losing everything in the fire and trying to find new purpose in life, one thing was very clear. It was my turn to save a dog. So, I headed over to my local animal shelter and came home with my very own ‘Unbound Hound’.
7 years later I have become an asset in the dog community for anyone looking for quality animal care. My career started in Charlestown for a walking company that was completing nearly 400 services a day. I was walking up to 23 dogs in a day, many of which were walked in large packs. I quickly became proficient in dog handling and reading dog behaviors as well as managing a busy client list. As the years progressed, my responsibilities expanded to training incoming walkers as well as managing and hosting our marketing events.
After purchasing my first home in 2021, my husband and I relocated to Central MA where I founded The Unbound Hound. Now I have become one of the only fusion dog walking companies in Leominster, Massachusetts offering off-leash and group walking services with a focus on creating a fun, safe environment for dog socialization.
